Introduction

Nasar Trust Hospital was established at the outskirts of G.T road, Lahore and was purposely built to give relief to the thousands of people living in the adjunct villages who cannot afford the medical treatment of surrounding private hospitals. The Hospital operates on no profit basis.

The moving spirit behind this noble idea was that of its founder, Ms. SHAHZADI MUSSARAT (late), a house wife who got widowed at the age of 28 years and then struggled throughout her life to groom and educate her four sons, namely, Mr. Javed Nasar, Mr. Aziz Nasar, Mr. Parvez Nasar and Mr. Ahmed Nasar. This struggle enlightened her vision about life. In her late seventies, she discussed the idea of a hospital with her son, Mr. Aziz Nasar, and donated all her wealth for this noble cause. All the four sons actively participated in fund raising and the construction was completed in 2007.
The donors have so far invested about Rs. 21 million in project.(included land and operations).

The hospital operates under the auspices of a Board of Trusties and Mr. Aziz Nasar is Chairman of the Hospital Management Committee. The systematic procedures allow maximum number of patients to benefit from the services of the hospital, outpatient facilities and the 24-hour emergency facility. In order to provide quality treatment and round-the-clock service to hospital patients, trained and qualified paramedical staffs have been inducted.
